What we publish

User-submitted observations about products, attributed to pseudonymous handles, with the evidence that supports them. We do not publish conclusions about intent. Status words (reported, corroborated, confirmed, disputed, benign explained, clean) are defined on the about page and are applied mechanically from the reports on file.

Vendor right of reply

If you make or sell a product listed here, post a vendor response on its page. It appears alongside the reports, unedited, with your handle. If you want it attributed to your company, say so in the text; we don't verify identities, and we say so.

Disputes

Anyone can post a dispute on a product page. A dispute sets the product to disputed until a reviewer looks at it, unless the finding is already corroborated by multiple independent verified reports. Reviewers can reject reports; rejected reports stay visible as rejected so the record is complete.

Takedowns

Email takedown@isitspying.com with the product URL and the specific statement or file you object to. Evidence files that contain personal data are removed on request without argument. Observations that are supported by evidence stay up; we'll add your response next to them.

Your data

We store a hash of your email address and an encrypted copy used only to send you sign-in links and watchlist notifications. Nothing else about you is collected. Reports, responses and your handle are public. Delete your account by emailing the address above from the mailbox you signed up with.
